How the Sea Became Salty by Sudha Murty is a remarkable story of magic, wonder and wit. Seeking answers she plunged into the book, taking it forward page by page and line by line. The little one by my side wondered aloud about such a possibility, as she held the book tightly in her hands. Set in a time when salt water was supposedly sweet and indeed drinkable.
